this is it! today's the day! lincoln woke up this morning and said, "DADDY DAY!" :) that's right buddy!!!

dan's flight has landed in atlanta and we're just waiting on his flight down to florida. i won't be posting over the next two weeks, but will be sure to add lots and lots of pictures of all of our adventures when he flies back. wishing you all a wonderful and smile-filled couple of weeks.

in our case, lots and lots of dirt!

we had to have clara's "daddy bunny" sewn back up at build-a-bear.

i was dreading going in there and getting out without spending a dime, but i did it! the kids were way more interested in playing typey-type on the computers in the store :)

water damage must follow me...

we had a lot of rain here yesterday, and this is the result. looks like dan will feel right at home with the smell of wet drywall and repairs being done- haha.

the kids and i received our very own deployment care package this week from our wonderful friends, the whisenant's, in hawaii. included were lots of fun art supplies for the kids, and we had a fun time being creative with our new tools!

don't worry grammy and granddaddy- it's all washable paint :)

lincoln likes to sing and paint- he's such a renaissance man!

clara thinks the paint tastes just as good as it looks- big surprise, huh?
